Take N' Bake Heating Instructions

  • To make holes in the crust of the pie without cracking the dough try either of these tips. Gently rock a fork back & forth while adding slight pressure to make holes for ventilation. Be careful not to use too much pressure to prevent the dough from cracking. (Only necessary if you would like more ventilation. Necessary holes already provided.)

  • Bake pie within 24-48 hrs. of home delivery. Refrigerate immediately.

  • Always bake on the middle rack to allow maximum circulation of heat.

  • Bake @ 375 ° for one hour. Cover the crust edges with tin foil around 15 minutes into the baking time because the tend to start browning before the rest of the pie and we just want to ensure an even-colored crust. When done baking, brush warm glaze over top of cobbler for a smooth shiny finish.

  • Line your cookie sheet with foil to catch any juices that may bubble over from our "full of fruit" pies.

  • If you want a perfect slice, cool pies for 2 ½ hours before serving. If you prefer a pie slice that spreads less on the plate-allow pie to cool for 3-4 hours or overnight at room temperature.

**After you bake your pie, it will keep in the refrigeragtor up to 4 days.**

**Heating Instructions for Frozen Desserts**

  • Always bake pies from a frozen state for best results. DO NOT THAW PRIOR TO COOKING.

  • For convection ovens, cooking time will be less. Check conversion guidelines in the instruction manual for your oven.

  • Preheat oven to 400º, cover the edges of the crust with aluminum foil. Cobbler should be hot, bubbly and ready to eat after 45 min. About the last 5-10 min. of baking take the foil off the edges of the crust.

  • Enjoy!

**If you don't want to bake your dessert right away, it will keep in the freezer for up to 3 months, until you're ready to bake it.  After you bake your dessert, it will keep in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.**
